In the early 70’s my mom worked at the Gütermann factory on the outskirts of Paris. I remember our excitement of filling up suitcases of thread to send to family back in Cameroon. Making patches with this thread reminds me of that time…With fabric and intuition, I’m stitching personal stories. -Jacques
